Pre-release versions of Vista have been made available to the general
public. However it will not be available in a final form until the first
quarter.

A Service Pack is a long way off, we have to get it the OS itself finished
first.

No, in the case of vista it needs a service pack even before its
released....!

RTM wont be a finished product... they might claim it is for the public..
but the developers will be hopping they wont
be sent to hell for the chaos they will unleash to the world.
