Is This Possible?

Hello Everyone,

I have an odd situation where I need to add a WinNT4 BDC
from the OS setup into our production Win2k AD
environment. It needs to have the SAM and it needs to be
NT4.

I know this is not recommended, but is it possible? any
advice on doing this?

If your w2k domain is in mixed mode you can still add NT4 BDC's in the usual
manner. If it is in native mode you wont be able to.

It is possible to add a new NT4 BDC into a Windows 2000 domain. In order to
do so you will need to precreate the computer account before you run setup.
This article will tell you how:

You have the answer already, however I am curious as to why you need an NT4 BDC.
