Is this a IE 8 issue?

When I try and open a web site that uses the camfrog active X controls, I get
error messages such as:
Failed to download skin file
Other instances of Camfrog web is already running on this computer
and internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.
These messages don't all happen at once but will occur after a few
different times when trying to access the chat/cam.

I run IE 8. I know about the compatibilty button and still end up with the
error messages. I have tried deleting IE8 and running IE 7 with no luck. I
have tried to delete my browsing history and system restore. As far as I
know, my firewall is not blocking the site and I have added it to my trusted
sites list. I have been able to use this site before. I can't figure this
out. Is this something with Camfrog, IE 8 or my computer? ANy help would be
appreciated!

I am not sure. I have been using this site for a couple of months with the
newly downloaded IE 8. The only problem that I had when I upgraded to IE 8
was using the compatibility button but even that doesn't seem to work
anymore. Also this is just the camfrog active X controls and not the actual
camfrog program.

I don't have any issues using mine with Vista. What are the steps you are
doing to produce the issue. I would like to try and duplicate it.
