I am trying to determine which version of FrontPage, if any, will work on my
new laptop running Vista Home Premium. Is there a list somewhere? I have
looked on the Vista website and the Frontpage website to no avail. Please
help. thank you.

What version of Front Page?
I used the 2003 version successfully for a while before switching to
Expression Web.
I am sure I have heard of success with earlier versions.

Ask in the Front Page Newsgroups for better information about Front
Page:

Wild exaggeration, the little da-da da-da sound when it starts up works
perfectly here...

Some people are never satisfied...

I suggest that anyone interested in HTML use a proper editor and live
with a bit of a learning curve because FP has never been compliant and
never in the versions I've used actually worked properly in terms of WYSIWYG

http://kompozer.net/features.php is one of several that look reasonable
but you should search for more and maybe try a few, can't be much more
broken that a Frontpage that cam;t do hyperlinks :)

Hi,

When inserting hyperlinks, FP 2003 will crash in Vista, and as far as I
know, no fix at this point.

You may wish to consult people in FrontPage newsgroup.

Good luck.

thank you for posting the hotlink to "the list." Although it is probably a
work in progress, don't understand why MS doesn't reference and direct users
across the board.

Now, I have another question for you. Still on my Vista Home Premium laptop
- any suggestions for a program that will burn CDs that can play in my car or
CD player?

My appreciation for your earlier FrontPage posting.

More evidence what you say needs to be ignored.
As much of what you say, this is obviously FALSE to most everyone but
you.
Another typical post of yours where the facts are obviously against
you.

You're welcome.

I'm sure they could make it easier to find, maybe they will improve it?

There's a BUNCH of 'em. The most commonly recommended are Nero and
Roxio which are also fairly expensive.

Here's a review of several from $10 on up:

And here's some freebies:

Thanks anyway. I don't think it works for everyone. It took me to a
help page telling me what I needed to do in order to log in.
