Is there any logging in Windows Messenger?

Have W2k with Windows Messenger 5.0 Installed. Is there log file where it logs all text communications incl. date and time stamps. I recall this feature was presented in MSN Messenger but was forsed to switch to Windows Messenger because of app. sharing and whiteboard.

No, Windows Messenger does not have built-in logging. However, you can add this capability
by installing a third-party tool called Messenger Plus! -- http://www.msgplus.net. Also take
note that if you do try this option, be sure to read through the installer, as if you do not
wish to install the sponsor program (ie. advertising) that goes along with Plus!, be sure
*not* to chose that option during the installation.
