Is there an autosave feature?

Hello, I was just wondering if there is an autosave feature in word 2003 (xp) so that my document will automatically save frequently as I am working. The reason why I am wondering about this is because my computer just completely cut off while typing a paper and now I have to reconstruct some of the work. I do save about every 15-20 min, but if it cuts off in between that time, I am screwed. Can anyone help me with turning on autosave and adjusting the time frame if one even exits? Please mail me with answers. Thank you in advance.

Click on Tools; Options; Save. Make sure the Save AutoRecover box is
checked and then lower the number of minutes to 1 or so. That way
you will only lose 1 minutes work if it locks up.

That's the theory - but it isn't always as successful in practice.
Aurorecover is not a backup. Also saving that frequently will slow an older
machine to a crawl.
