Is there a way to view all sections of an email at once?

I have just switched from Netscape, where the threads of the email would all
show on one page. Now, I have to open attachments to see the previous email
threads - is there a way to change this?

Some mail clients (like AOL's) package nested replies as attachments inside
attachments and Outlook always shows attachments as attachments. Other
clients do not and "threads" from those clients show all the replies in a
single message just fine. It's really up to the sender client.
