Is there a way to store slides that are used on different presenta

Is there a way to store slides that are used on different presentations? I
run a PP that is broadcast on TV's here at the school I work at and I often
use much of the same info each week, but sometimes I don't need a particular
slide for a few weeks. I save each week as it's own file and then I have to
go through all my files, week by week, to find the slide I am looking for.

I was looking to save each slide in some format so it's easier to retrieve.
I guess I could make a master show with all slides and pull it off of that
one. Is that the most efficient way?

A simple fix might be to save each slide as a jpg or bmp in a folder under my
pictures. Then you can use insert to put the pictures/slides into the new
presentation.

Depending on your version of PowerPoint. You can set up a Custom show, and just use the slides that you want for that particular presentation. No need to store slides in a different file. Or you can just hid the slides you don't want to use this week

Thanks! I've tried it and it works great! It saves the whole slide so all I
have to do is insert the .jpg into the slide. They are listed alpha and it
makes them easy to find! I knew there was an easier way. It's been on my list
of things to do for a few months. Thanks for the help!

If you have PowerPoint 2007 and a SharePoint-based intranet, you can save
your slide to a slide library. This is not possible in older versions.
