Is there a way to set the default size of cascaded windows?

Perhaps an odd question but as Ive recently stepped into the widescreen
arena (Dell 2407 Wow!!) it has brought up a few questions.

If I cascade windows they are approximately 4/5ths of the screen width - but
on a 24" screen thats a bit too wide for my taste. So wondered if there's a
way to set the default size of the window when using cascade?

Also, does anyone know of keyboard shortcuts to cascade/tile or another
way without having to find a gap on the task bar!

Thanks for your time.

Ya still have to find a gap.

Left click the Taskbar to give it focus.
Hit Shift + F10 to open the menu.
Hit the S key to highlight Cascade Windows.
or
Hit the H key to highlight Tile Windows Horizontally.
or
Hit the E key to highlight Tile Windows Vertically.
Hit Enter to execute the highlighted command.

Left click the Taskbar | Shift + F10 | Hit the S key | Hit Enter

Sometimes you can use the Tab key to get focus, depends on what you have
open.

Or use a script.

As far as the width, the width is controlled by the Longest Line length of
the entry on that Cascade Menu. That is why each cascade width is
different.

If you rename entries, the cascade width will auto change.
