Is there a way to save a word document as a jpeg?

I created a one-page word document (which includes photos, text, wordart, and
background) and would like to know if it's possible to save the entire
document as a jpeg? Eventually, I'd like to have layout processed/printed as
a photo by a lab such as that at Costco, Walmart, etc. Please help!

On your keyboard is an key "Print Screen". This produces an image of what is
on your screen to the windows clipboard. It can be pasted into MS-Paint or
something like that, and saved as jpg.
Maybe you will have to adjust the zoom percentage of your screen to be able
to capture the whole document in one shot.

Good luck.

To do this propertly you need software that is capable of intercepting the
printer output and directing it to a driver that produces JPG files. The
standout application for this is SnagIt from www.techsmith.com

Or, if your Office is new enough you could print to the Office Document
Image Writer, which can save in tiff format which you should be able to
convert to jpeg with image software easily enough.

You can save your document. Then select the entire page. In a new Word
document, try Edit > Paste Special..., Paste as Picture. Then save that Word
document as a web page. A separate folder will contain your .gif or jpg
file. (The other software mentioned by Graham will work better, though.)

Yep, but it's multiple steps.

Here's what I do:

Download and install CutePDF. This will allow you to print files as a PDF.
Open your file, hit print, and select CutePDF as your printer.

Now, download a free graphic editing program such as GiMP. This will allow
you to open the PDF and save it as a .JPG.

Now you can print at Walmart, but here's an easier step below:

I forget which website, but I believe it's FedEx Kinkos (might have been
Staples). You can send DOC's to be printed. I did this a year or two ago
when people from my company were at a fashion show in Florida and I printed
files from here to a place nearby down there.

SnagIt will allow you to print to file directly from Word as JPG (or PDF) or
just about any other Graphics format you can think of. There is a fully
workimg trial.
