Is there a way to merge 2 powerpoint presentations together?

I am using PowerPoint 2007 as a student in a summer class. I am fairly new
to this software, and I would like to merge 2 short presentations together.

Merging presentations is fairly easy. The primary issue is whether you want
to keep the other presentations template intact or have it update to the
current template.

The easiest way to merge is to:
- Open presentation 1
- Go to slide sorter view
- Position cursor after last slide
- Open presentation 2
- Go to slide sorter view
- Select all (CTRL + A)
- Copy
- Close presentation 2
- In presentation 1, paste
- All slides will be added, but they will automatically take on the
attributes of the slide they were pasted in front of (last slide of
presentation 1). If you want to keep the presentation 2's template, look for
the small floating square that appears, click it and select 'keep source
formatting'.

This should get you started.
