how to merge animated texts in powerpoint?

sir/madam,
i am an mba graduate and i have a small doubt in creating
my powerpoint presentation. Well, i would like to bring more life to my
presentation.
In order to do that, i would like to put in animated fonts for
each letter (of the same type). But like Adobe Photoshop, how do i merge
these together? is there any option to merge those two together?
pls try sending the reply to my mail id as early as possible:

You don't have to merge layers or anything in PowerPoint in order to animate
letter-by-letter. You must, though, have all the text in the same textbox.
Simply select the text you want to display in a different font and then
apply that font to those letters.

Then to animate letter-by-letter, select the textbox and apply an animation.
In the animation task pane, double-click the animation you just applied, and
in the resulting dialog box, go to the Effects tab, click the Animate Text
dropdown box, and choose "by letter."

If that's not what you're asking, can you be more specific? I'm not really
sure what you're trying to merge.

And also, you should be aware that animating letter-by-letter is usually
more annoying than not.

hi Mr. Echo S,
Well, wat u replied was just the default animation option in
powerpoint. What i wish to know is....see, i've downloaded couple of "gif"
fonts from the net. And those are already animated. So, i need to put them
letter by letter (no other go i guess). So, after putting each letter by
letter in the right sequence...i need to merge them together as u see in
adobe photoshop. Will tat be possible. that's my question...was it clear
enough? or i'll write once again..i don't mind!

Insert them individually using Insert > picture >from file
Arrange on the slide as required and ctrl click on each letter to select
them all
Right click on them and Grouping > Group

Just my opinion but it will probably look awful!
