Is there a way to make Works compatible with Word?

I created a resume using Works and attempted to email it to potential
employers. All have responded saying that they could not open the document.
Is there anyway this can be done?

If you have the current Works version, it will allow you to save in
Microsoft Word format. (File save as > Word 97(RTF)). They will be able to
open that. To guarantee everyone can see it, save as plain text. You are
lucky they responded.
