is there a way to import attendees from a .ics file (icalendar)

i try to create meeting files in icalendar format, and let use download the
ics file to add meetings to there outlook calendar. but the attendee
information in the ics file does not go into outlook.
is there a way to do this? thanks.

hi Diane,
thank you for the replay.
i just want the attendees in the ics file go into the meeting in outlook.
because every time i add a meeting from an ics file, the attendees just
disappear in outlook.
