I need to print out an 30 x 42 inch version (engineering drawing size) of a
Powerpoint on our color plotter. I created it in a 11 x 17 page size for
presenting. I need to export it as a Tiff in order to print on the
engineering plotter (printer)...any ideas?

Thanks

File > Save As. In the Save as Type drop down menu, select tiff, You'll be
asked if you want to save the entire presentation or the current slide only.
Make your choice then hit Save.

Improve PowerPoint's GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG export resolution

I'd export to PNG and convert that to TIFF using some other program; TIFF
exports in some versions of PPT are unreliable. IrfanView (www.irfanview.com)
is free and will do a nice job.

Steve's right but you should be able to see TIFF (you will need to scroll
down it's about number 12 in the options)

Depending on PPT version, TIFF may be an optional installation item ... iow, it
may or may not be there.

And if it's there, depending on PPT version, the results it produces may be ...
how to put it politely ... um ... something you'd rather not find on the bottom
of your shoe after the dog's been out for a walk? ;-)

And finally, the results will be somewhere in the area of 96dpi * 17" or a 1600
pixel wide image. Enlarged to 42" on a plotter, that works out to a shade
under 40dpi. I'd want a few more pixels on my team.
