Is there a way to automate the send/receive messages in Outlook?

While actively logged into an Outlook session with a profile, is it possible to set up parameters to request the send/receive messages functionality to occur on a regularly scheduled timeframe? It would be like having someone sit at the computer and having them hit the send/receive button every 10 minutes (for example) in order to receive their latest email messages?

Yes, just go to tools and click options... it is in there, look for mail delivery or mail setup. Send and receive options!!

Yes there is a way to automate the send/receive messages - make sure you are in the mail section of Outlooik. Go to tools/options/mail setup/send receive and the option is there to tell Outlook how often to send/receive
