Is there a way to copy some piece of text, and then copy a different
piece of text and then paste both pieces of text somwhere else without
having to do them one at a time?

If you have a recent version of MS Office you can do it:

If not you would need to install a 3rd party clipboard program such as Clippy:

Yes but only with the help of 3rd party tools :
