Okay, I'm back. Printers are still not printing with black ink.
This morning I connected the Epson printer to my old Windows 95 computer -
no black printing. (So maybe the Epson's bad).
I got out my laptop HP printer and connected it to my new Windows XP
computer - no black printing. (So maybe it is a problem with the computer).
I connected the laptop's HP printer to the laptop - no black printing!
What!
That means that I can't get black ink from any (3) of my computers on any
(3) of my printers, well ,two printers I have checked; I guess I'll have to
see if the third printer is compatible with Windows 95 but it will connect to
my laptop, I just don't see the point.
Hindsight being 20/20, I should have checked out my laptop printer connected
to the laptop first, because, now I'm wondering if the laptop printer didn't
pick up a 'virus' from my computer and pass it on to the laptop??
Is it possible to infect a computer, have the virus passed on thru printers
to other computers??? That's all I can rationalize now. Any advice would
help.
Thanks,
Barbara
