Is there a BarCode font that can be used in Excel or Word?

I am working on a project that would benefit from barcodes
being printed in the listing. Does anyone know if
Microsoft Excel 97 or Word 97 can produce a barcode? Has
anyone tried any barcoding products outside of Microsoft
that can be carried into Excel or Word?

I use Wasp Labeler (and Mobilveinventory) which you can
import files from Excel or Word from as long as the files
are in csv format- But I think it does support other
types. But I have not tried importing the barcodes into
Excel or Word.

docuemnt or an Excel spreadsheet is the TAL Bar Code ActiveX control
available from TAL Technologies.

good Bar Code Font from Paul Falla's responce at
