Is the newsgroup search function broken?

I have been trying intermittently for three days to
search this newsgroup about a problem I am having. The
search function seems to procede normally until the
progress bar is about halfway and never finishes or
progresses further no matter how long I wait. I have
tried doing very simple limited (easy) searches for the
current day for an exact subject that is showing in the
current postings listings and it still wont find it.
Is anybody else having this problem? Any suggestions?
 
try using a newsreader as opposed to the web access.In OE go to
Tools-Accounts-Add-News and use the news server msnews.microsoft.com - all
your news operations will be INFINITELY easier!
