Is speech recognition in Word 2000 possible?

I just purchased a new computer that came with Office XP trial version.
Speech recognition works fine in that version of Word, but I will be
installing Office 2000 Premium onto this new computer when the trial runs out
in 50 days or so. I have already installed the 2000 version of Word due to
some mail merge issues in the XP version. What I want to know is if Speech
Recognition is possible in the Word 2000 version. If there is an add-in or
patch or whatever that might make it work.

You need to ask this in a Word newsgroup, this one is for the Access
Database program.
