I'm a windows xp user, and my screen saver does not start no matter what time
is set. From reading other posts, I've been lead to believe that this is due
to the microsoft wireless optical mouse or wirelsss keyboard I am using,
unfortunately the fixes presented thus far have not worked for me. I
wondered if anyone knew if this problem is only encountered with the
microsoft products or if all wireless desktops cause this problem? Thank you.

Hi ... It doesn't just have to be wireless products , It can be any third
party software , Try closing all your working programs ( non windows
stuff )and see if that solve it

....

I have had the same problem and it seems to be the wireless mouse and
keyboard because if I disconnect unplug them, the screen saver comes works.
I have tried the other suggestions made as well and no luck - any further
ideas

I just checked my Windows Task Manager and found that the wireless mouse and
keyboard keep activating the CPU every few seconds. Would like to know how
to stop that when I am not using the computer or to override this.
