Is Outlook 2003 compatible with Microsoft Activesync?

I currently am running MS Office 2000 Pro. Communications with my Pocket PC
required updating Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2002. I am about to upgrade to MS
Office 2003, and am concerned about MS ActiveSync compatibility with Outlook
2003.

I upgraded from OfficeXP/ActiveSync 3.6 to Office2003/ActiveSync 3.8 It's
been working as I expected with my Compaq iPAQ 3955.
