I am getting an error message: " is not a valid date.
whenever I open internet explorer, windows explorer, the
recycle bin or other windows functions. I do not get the
message when I open other programs (word, acrobat, etc.)
I have done a virus scan on my system with 2 different
programs and none were found. I did have a trojan horse
that was found and cleaned a few days before this problem
started.

Any ideas as to what is causing this message?

I am having the same error message come up....Everything as far as date formats on my computer are OK, i simply get the error message, click OK, and then the program runs fine. It is more of a nuissance than anything

Hi Larry,

Go to Start/Control Panel/Regional and Language/Regional Options/English.
Apply, ok.

If this error message box listed the date and time, make sure that the date
format has " / " (separators) and not an empty space.

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you find anything?
