is it true that you have to get your computer inoculated?

a friend told me that i should take my computer in for inoculation or
else it will be susceptible to viruses.
he says there is a special needle that goes into the harddrive,
injecting some kind of fluid with software program that protects the
whole computer.
do you know anything about this? any advice as to where i can get my
comp inoculated?

also, is it true that computers can give us certain viruses? i was
also told of how some people are coming down with a new disease called
computeritis. believe it or not, certain virus-like programs in the
computer can infect the user thru the keyboard or even thru the
monitor. the infectee can have nightmares of his mind being scanned or
defragmented. when he takes a dump, he may himself to be a computer
downloading alot of useless information.
i hear the keyboard and the monitor have to be wiped down with a half
and half solution of alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. but, that's only a
halfway measure. there is actually a certain formula one can find at
computer stores to fix this problem. i don't know its name? do you
know? thanks in advance.

i've also heard that computers can catch certain human diseases,
especially viruses. for example, i heard of a computer that began to
malfunction, and no one could figure out why. its hardware was sound
and there were no computer viruses. it turns out it was somehow
affected by HIV from a gay computer user who hadn't washed his hands
properly after doing his lover. and, the HIV must have gotten into the
computer when the gay dude put in a floppy disk.
i worry about my computer getting affected by human germs. have you
had such problems? any advice on how to minimize dangers?

thanks.

This has got to be a joke. No one would be stupid enough to believe this.
SciFi channel must be looking for a new movie plot.

Silliest thing I've ever heard.

Diseased computers are caused by only one thing... Trapped germs.

During the LCD's manufacturing process, it's possible for germs
to be trapped. These germs are anaerobic (meaning they don't need
oxygen to live), and once sealed into the LCD, can wreak havoc on
the entire system.

The solution is simple... Poke a hole, dead center in the LCD,
thereby releasing any/all germs. A small shot of Lysol, sprayed
into the hole, afterwards, completes the "inoculation."

Good Luck!

Most of this is true.

For a nominal fee of $450.00 U.S., I will inoculate your computer for
you. You will, of course, have to bring the computer in every 3 days for
booster shots, at a charge of $15.00 per visit. If I have to make a
house call, I'll have to charge you travel time and mileage.

As to people infecting computers, such as with AIDS, I suppose it could
happen if the virus has jumped the biological/integrated circuit
barrier. This would be astounding, and I'm sure the intellectual press
would have published it had it actually happened.

So, to make a long story short, my computer inoculation services are
available, for a fee.

The only thing worse than a troll is a troll that attempts to insult the
intelligence of the reader.

You are a worthless piece of sh!t. You seriously need to find a way to
occupy your time.

Welcome to the killfile.

It is truly a shame your parents had to work so hard raising you and putting
you through whatever little schooling you have had...it was a waste of their
time and money.

Don't listen to all these patronizing ignorant over esteemed users!! Your friend is absolutely correct, it can happen!! My laptop got AIDS just by sharing a network connection with an infected Desktop!!

Its crazy, but, inoculation is not sufficient, you MUST keep your computer under water at all times. Apparently, the combination of electricity and water keeps germs away from your hard drive.

HOWEVER, you should be aware that the main problem is quite the opposite! A recent studies have shown beyond a shadow of a doubt, that computer viruses may infect humans! if you think you've been around an infected computer, you should immediately inoculate your brain. This is done using a special needle, but I can't tell you what the process is because I am afraid you will try it by yourself.

What can I say - it seems both you and your computer are in bad shape.. hold on, it may go away all by itself.

Best wishes

Doesn't have anything to do with electronics, but go use the computer
at the public library. Then rub your eyes and pick your nose. YOu'll
probably catch something...
Don't try this at home.

Ain't going to do you one bit of good if you don't put a band aid on
that hole after you finish. How could you forget such an important
step in your "inoculation" process?
