is it possible to retrieve 'recently recycled/deleted/' files?

help please.......i accidentally put a very important folder that was on my
desktop into my recycle bin, then emptied it....is there anyway to retrieve
the folder????

Dependent on whether the data has been overwritten or not, you may be able
to recover the file/folder with a 3rd party 'undelete' program:
