I have outlook 2002 on computer that I share with my spouse. We currently
have our email thru hotmail, but have been thinking of changing over to
Outlook.
Is it possible to have 2 seperate address books and inboxes with different
email addresses, so that he can get his emails and I get mine?

Yes. You can have a single installation of Outlook and multiple Profiles.
Profiles can be setup via the Mail Control Panel (Start - Control Panel -
Mail). Click the Show Profiles... button. You should see the Mail tab and at
lease one profile. You can click the Add button to configure a new profile.
You can repeat this process for you and your husband, giving each profile a
unique name. Make sure on this page you select the radio button under "When
starting Microsoft Outlook, use this profile:" that says "Prompt for a
profile to be used". The next time either of you launches Outlook, you will
have a window prompting you for which profile you want to use. As they are
stored in separate PST files, each can have their own Address Book.

Thank you so much. I will give that a try this evening when my husband gets
home. I think that will work.

jhoustonm gave you good advice, but nothing in that advice indicates that,
while your message stores will be different, nothing prevents you from
choosing your husband's mail profile or he yours.

A better approach would be for each of you to use your own Windows login.
While this, too, can't prevent Administrator accounts from accessing other
accounts' message stores, it makes use of the computer by two people
cleaner.
