Is it possible to directly copy a cell with more than 255 characte

I believe we cannot copy a cell with more than 255 characters from one
excelsheet to another.

If we need to copy a cell with more than 255 char, it is required to copy
the text itself (not the cell), and then paste in the target cell.

Does excel have any solution for directly copying a cell with more than 255
characters?

Sorry, this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, the database product. I
