Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to for someone to add an
attachment inside MS Word document? I mean not the contents of that
attachment pasted into Word, but adding the document as an
attachment(with icon) inside an existing word document already opened.
Thanks.

Not an "attachment", but an embedded copy of the file:

Insert>Object - Create from File, then click the Browse button. Navigate to
select the file & after you click Insert put a check in the Display as Icon
box. that will also activate the Change Icon button so you can pick a
different icon and/or specify a caption other than the complete path &
filename.

Tip: Once the icon is in the doc you can treat it very much like any other
graphic object: apply a border & fill color, drop shadow, drag to resize &
reposition, etc.

It works! You're the savior! Thanks.

Thanks for posting back with the confirmation. You're most certainly
welcome.
