Word TOC page numbers change in Outlook

When emailing a word document as an attachment in Outlook, the page numbers
in the table of contents, change when the document is opened. If the
attachment is downloaded to one's computer and opened, it works fine.

If your email recipient has Word 2003, ask your email recipient to start
Word and click on Tools | Options | General tab | uncheck the "Allow
starting in Reading Layout" box | OK.

If your email recipient has Word 2007, ask your email recipient to start
Word and click on Office Button | Word Options | Popular | uncheck the
"Open e-mail attachments in Full Screen Reading view" box | OK.

The problem is most likely related to opening the document in Reading Layout.
