Is it possible to copy wireless settings?

Hello,

I have two laptops that are nearly identical. I don't want to ghost them
or clone them but I would like to copy all the wireless settings from all
the businesses I visit from one laptop to the next. E.g. SIDs, wep and WPA
keys.

Is there any easy way to do this?

This depends a lot on the hardware/software that you use to control
your wireless. Many manufactururs' wireless software (e.g. Intel
ProSet) will store your settings in "Profiles". Simply accessing the
Profiles screen and "Export"ing your profiles to a file will allow you
to "Import" them on another machine using the same wireless software.

The catch is that a lot of "nearly identical" computers use different
chipsets & software.

HTH,
John
