Is it me, or am I just too freaking tired/strung out on starbucks to find any relative to a DOS opti

Start, Run, CMD.EXE.

Or you can set up a shortcut to the DOS program.

Lotsa companies still running DOS programs under Windows; don't let the
skeptics delude you.

OTOH, why upgrade to XP without considering what apps have to be updated
as well?
