Is it any wonder why Firefox is popular?

I have never used Firefox in my life but I downloaded it today after being
fed up with Internet Explorer for the last few weeks.

I downloaded all "critical" patches from the Microsoft Update website a few
weeks ago and ever since they were installed Internet Explorer 6 has just run
shockingly.

When I try and load pages I sometimes get pages full of CODE and end up
having to refresh to get a properly loaded page. It is almost as if Internet
Explorer is trying to load a page quickly without actually loading it
properly.

Im going to start using Firefox. It isn't my problem when Microsoft creates
some patch that ruins Internet Explorer.

I.E. used to be a very good browser, but over the last few weeks it has been
one of the worst.

Oh I should say that I am using Windows XP Home SP2 with Internet Explorer 6
(with all the so called updates).

I am a loyal Firefox user, but in all fairness, what has happened to you
with IE is not typical, and suggests that there is some underlying
problem with your PC. Perhaps you have been hit with spyware or a
virus; perhaps you installed some other software that destabilized IE;
perhaps something you installed a long time ago is interacting with
something you did recently. There are many possibilities.

Switch to Firefox if you wish (and welcome to the club!), but spend some
time to finding out what has gone wrong with your PC: if you do not, it
will likely come back to haunt you.

Agreed -- IE has problems, but the symptoms described are not problems
with IE per se.

HELLO? No more Active X Controls, IE IS OFFICIALLY not stable for use to
users.
I have problems with it too with all those stupid patches and updates done
to it.
I cant open a new window because it has no internet access on it. And
Active X Controls are disabled. What else to make our lifes more miserable
Microsoft? That new chairman is going to bring down the whole company, if he
does not act fast.
