Is it a good idea to put a site map on a site?

Should I include a site map on my site, it will have nearly 100 pages when
I'm done, what are the benefits?

It can't hurt.
If someone gets "lost" it'll help them. it could also help the search
engines.
I remember even seeing something in the <head> section of a site....here's a
link:

btw, you can use FrontPage's TOC component to generate a site map really
quickly, then visit it in a browser, copy it, then return back to the page
in FrontPage design view and paste what you copied over the TOC component.
this way you'll have an editable map with very little work.
