How do I get my site map to update?

I have some pages on my site which are included in my site map (created based
upon categories & page title) and which I periodically change. I change the
page titles, save everything, republish but can't get the site map to update
the listings. I delete and reinsert the TOC web component for that page
category on the site map, resave, republish, and still it won't update. What
is the trick to getting it to pick up the new page titles for items in the
selected category?

After your changes have you run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
- and when viewing in browser clear your cache
