Is FrontPage 2002 compatible with Office 2003 Standard Edition?

Upon getting a new gateway computer operated with Windows XP and having
pre-installed Microsoft Office 2003 Standard trial Addition I am having a
crash problem. The system turns off and restarts. It is a device driver
problem. I cannot seem to find the problem and neither can Gateway. I
installed 2002 FrontPage software to edit a Web page. Does anyone think this
might be the cause of my problem????

If it only does it when FrontPage is running then it "could" be a problem with FrontPage.
However it sounds more like an issue with defective or improperly inserted RAM.

There should be some clues to the problem in the system event logs in Computer Management.

it does it once a day, sometimes when online and soetimes not. never when i
was really running frontpage. gateway suggest i run the restore disc but i
really would rather not do this. i have my own log and do not know anything
about event log. anything you can suggest would be helpful. we could
communicate on regular email if you have the time. thanks

Right click My Computer - Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery (Settings) - System Failure - and unselect Automatically
restart
- won't cure your problem, but will probably at least give you some sort of error when your system crashes or locks up
Errors should be Event Viewer (to see them use Right click My Computer - Manage)

Agree if it is a driver issue you should probably reinstall (recover) & start over
