I have a folder on my desktop which I cannot remove/delete. I cannot recall
where it came from. If I try to remove/delete/send to recycle bin I get
message "Cannot delete - cannot find the specified file". Can anyone help?
Thanks. Seamus Halford.

Hi Seamus,

Start/run cmd, click ok.

Navigate (CD) to the desktop for your user profile, then use RD /s /q
<directory> to remove it.
