IRQ troubles

I am trying to connect to internet with a Linksys card. I
have it installed, the Network connection shows cable is
unplugged, as soon as I plug in the cable, Windows Xp
crashes and I get a blue window stating:
IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Any Ideas, Linksys says its a problem in Windows XP, so i
get nowhere with them. Also, I tried both slots on the
side of the laptop, Any help is appreciated.

This is really not like an IRQ problem of old. Usually it means there is a
bug in the NIC driver. Doesn't sound like Linksys is being very helpful,
but have you tried the newest version of their driver.
