IreIKE.exe - Application Error

Below is the Error message I am receiving when either shutting down or
restarting the laptop.

IreIKE.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0012e74c" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be 'Written'.

The laptop is running XP Pro.

Any Pointers???

ireike.exe is a process for the Microsoft virtual private network client. It
provide remotes access connections across public networks, such as the
Internet.

Sound like anything that you need running?
