IRC Fast worm

I just bought a new hard drive and dl all my new drivers. I got a malware bug
called IRC Fast I cannot DL anything now. I keep getting an error from
windows. how do I get rid of this bug? I can't DL any of cleaners to sweep
the system.

Anyone know how to delete this bug ?

Download Avast! to a thumbdrive from another machine, copy to the
infected machine, run the install and schedule a bootscan. Use other
software to check it out further after you have control of the machine.
