IPP showing offline

I am using the IPP to print to a network printer. Although it seems to
print fine it is always shown in Windows as offline.

I am using the Adobe Postscript driver.

I have done some network captures and I can see where Windows is talking
to the print server. The print server responds with the printer in the
idle state. This seems correct to me so I am assuming (big assumption)
that the problem is in the Windows IPP subsystem or in the Adobe
Postscript Printer driver.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have also noticed it with some remote IPP print connections. Sometimes
when IPP connections times our trying to make connection it shows "offline"
message. Normally my remote users require to power recycle to reset
connection on HP jetdirect 300x to reset "offline"connection.
