iPod

My iPod is not being read by my computer. When I plug
the iPod in it says charging like it normally does, but
it never connects to the computer so I can add songs. Is
this happening to anyone else?

The iPod, from what I understand, requires that you use their software
to make it communicate with the computer. I beleive it is iTunes or
something that you need to install to put songs on there. This is part
of Mac's copyright protection scheme.
