iPOD connected to PC

Hi everyone,

I copied some DOC files to my iPOD last night at home.
This morning I came to work, but when I connect iPOD to my work PC, nothing
appears on the iPOD screen (such as "Entry Not Allowed" sign) and I can't
see IPOS in the Explorer Window.
I had already connected my iPOD to this computer at work before, but this
time doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would take a shot at updating the iPod's software. iPods are excruciatingly
glitchy devices and Apple has been releasing software updates for them on a
regular basis since at least Gen4.
