When I try to Run ipconfig /all on my Windows XP Home computer, it doesn't
work. The knowledge base is closed or not working. How do I make this program
work?
Thank you.

Please help us to help you. What does " it doesn't work" mean? What happens
when you try? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

For information on how to make a good newsgroup posting, read

What do you mean it does not work?

Be sure to open a command prompt window *first* and then run ipconfig.
Otherwise the screen readout will immediately disappear when it completes
command.

Try typing that command into a command prompt.

Start | Run | Type: cmd | Click OK |
When the command prompt opens, type: ipconfig /all and hit your Enter
key.

ipconfig /all will not work from the Run command (Start | Run) it will just
flash a command prompt faster than you can see it.
