W2K3Server & ATL.DLL for IPCONFIG.EXE

G

Gregg Soden

Installed yesterday and ran full scan which broke
IPCONFIG.EXE. Seems the scan found a threat which I
approved the removal of and it deleted this dll file
needed to run not only IPCONFIG but my MMC addons for
managing DHCP, WINS, DNS, etc.

I copied the ATL.DLL file back into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 to
fix the problems.

That's weird - what happened to file protection there? The one W2K3 server
I ran MSAS on did not do that.

Any chance of looking at the cleaner.log file from the directory Microsoft
Antispyware is installed in? It'd be good to see what detection/removal was
involved.
