I ahve tried to use this via Start; Run; but the dialogue box flashes on the
screen for a fraction of a second then is gone!

How do I read it please?

Greetings derek,

That's what happens when you type that at the run command.

Click Start, Run, and type cmd. Press ENTER.

At the command prompt, type ipconfig/all
