In the Event log, I have the following error in the system
log: IPBOOTP was unable to receive an incoming message on
the local interface with IP 10.N.N.N The data is the
error code.

Event ID 30022

Can anyone explain the error, and how do I resolve?

Hi Joe,

Check to make sure you do not have the DHCP relay agent installed on this
system.

I also have this error message but need DHCP Relay to
enable RAS clients to receove an IP address from my
internal DHCP server which runs on another machine. Is
there any other solution apart from disabling DHCP
Relaying
