Ipaq rx3115 syncing contacts in Outlook 2007

Synchonization can not be completed because
Microsoft Outlook cannot open the Task folder. Close Outlook and then start
Outlook again. Once Outlook again. once Outlook is running, disonnect your
mobile device and reconnect. If the problem persists, reinstal Outlook.

I have closed outlook 2007 and reinstalled it and still get the same
message. THe PDA was syncing until I loaded the *.pst backup file.

Additional, I can view the contents of the rx3115 while it is synced but my
PDA does not update from Outlook 2007. It worlked fine under XP and until I
loaded the Backup.pst from my old computer.

I am using active sync 4.5 and windoows vista 64 bit.

I loaded the .pst file from my old computer in the documents folder; then I
created a new partnership soft booted the PDA, that deleted the contacts.
then I got the following error message when the sync failed: Synchonization

if you press Ctrl+6 - how many task folders do you have?

Do any folders sync?

Have you hard reset recently or cleared the temp folder on the device? (A
hard reset apparently clears it.)

you might also want to check the activesync newsgroup -

I pressed Ctr+6 and no results so I do not how many task folders their are.

Ctrl+6 switches the view to the folder list so you can see every folder in
your profile.
