IPAQ PA-1 (HELP!)

USB device not recognized.
When I connect my iPAQ PA-1 to my pc it turns off and is
not recognized by Windows 2000Pro(SP4).

Installed RioPort software and controller but it still
does not work.

How to know if it is working?.

Compaq seems to be so far to keep a customer happy.
They not have drivers to download.

Try installing your mainboard's drivers, it should contain a USB driver
package. If it is already installed, and other USB devices seem to function,
I think you should mail Compaq (or contact your reseller)...
Ah, and Compaq does have drivers to download, try searching somewhere else
(like google, yahoo, ...)
