I recently changed static addresses on a Windows 2000
Server (sp4), then modified the host records on internal
Windows 2000 Server DNS servers. The next day, the host
records reverted back to the previous IP address. Any
suggestions?
 
Did you restart DHCP and DNS-server after making the modifications?

Restarting DHCP and DNS-server should be enough. It doesn't hurt to restart
the server though.
